University of South Dakota NSCA certified strength & conditioning Coaches have teamed up with Sanford POWER to offer an Olympic based training camp to safely introduce and progress the use of Olympic Lifts as part of a comprehensive sports performance training plan. Available to 9-12 graders, this camp is designed to complement existing strength programs at their local high school/club, and recognizably improve performance for all sports.

Following a time proven system, our training philosophy is to teach fundamental movements and basic barbell training, starting from the ground up. Our promise is to instruct and encourage safe and proper technique for all the movements, while maximizing meaningful transition of training to sport. Following appropriate age and skill level progressions, we will help young athletes increase their level of athleticism and have a great time learning the role of the Olympic Lifts in a regimented program.

We believe in a high coach to athlete ratio, and will be limiting this summer to 50 campers.
